Sights & Sounds of East Oakland & East Side Arts Alliance present Oakland is Proud Block Party featuring performances from local artists and poets with a headlining set from legendary American jazz musicians; saxophonist David Murray & drummer Kahil El'Zabar, hosted by MC RyanNicole. Oakland is Proud Block Party will spotlight journalistic presentations from Oakland Voices cadre of local reporters, have food trucks, interactive artmaking, and end the evening with a dance workshop from Cunamacue dance troupe.
