SF Jazz Poetry Festival

Founding Program Director of the non-profit Youth Speaks, The Kennedy Center’s recent acquisition, & new SFJAZZ Poet Laureate Marc Bamuthi Joseph curates this festival, bringing together some of the most lauded literary & spoken word voices this generation.

American Dream States challenges writers of different genres to respond to a key piece of writing on the American Dream, and perform these new creative responses in collaboration with an all star band.

The WeSing Vocal Festival is an empowering, educational and community-centered event for singers and vocal music enthusiasts of all ages, gender identities and stylistic preferences.

Saturday night, join us for an evening of inspiring and uplifting vocal music! Featuring the youthful energy of Oakland School for the Art's change-makers Osa Vocal Rush; the fierce, witchy sounds of breakout vocal quintet HIVE featuring legendary MC RyanNicole; and the powerful, epic vocals and grooves from Oakland-based band Elephantine.
