RN helps launch CHINATOWN’s “the SPOT”

In my work as an executive director of Youth Movement Records, I was honored to support the development of several youth-driven initiatives, a few being building true brick & mortar safe havens for young people to freely & safely express themselves and receive support in the areas of health, academics, art & culture.  The Spot Oakland supports the success of youth by fostering their emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual health through holistic, coordinated, youth-driven resources and opportunities.  They work with you to create:

• A safe and empowering environment to realize their full potential
• Meaningful roles to experience and strengthen their communities
• A culture of unity, diversity, and collaboration for social justice
